- Replacement of faulty and expired smoke alarms/detectors
- Identification of the type and functions of the smoke alarm
- Records of each smoke alarm/detector showing the location and expiry date
- Compliance report right after the completion of the inspection
- The preservation of records detailing that the property is compliant with current smoke alarm/detector legislation. This includes smoke alarm/detector positioning according to the Building Code of Australia and compliance with the Australian Standards AS 3786-1993
- Providing advice regarding compliance with state-relevant smoke alarm/detector legislation
